The Executive Chairman of Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area, Hon. Barr. Chijioke Joseph Ezugwu has appealed to everyone to always put God first in whatever one is doing. He made the remarks on his Thanksgiving service at Palace of Victory Global Ministry, Nsukka.

Preaching the sermon, the General Overseer of the ministry, Prophet Emmy Daniel advised people to always run to God in every situations. He informed the congregations that the emergence of Barr. Chijioke Joseph Ezugwu is a prayer answered for the people of Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area at this critical insecurity challenges facing the local government area.

"Let it be known to you today that the emergence of Barr Chijioke Joseph Ezugwu as the Executive Chairman of Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area is a divine arrangements by the Almighty God in heaven. I advised nobody should plan against him rather plan with him and for him, so that the manifestation of the will of God through him in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area shall come to pass. He warned and charged.

The event witnessed  many turn out of party PDP faithfuls, Hon. Barr. Ugo Ferdinand Ukwueze, Chairman of Igbo-Eze South LGA, the Chairman of Udenu LGA, Chief Aka Eze Aka, Chief Dr. Cornel Onwubuya, former Chairman of Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area, Chief Anselem Ikechukwu Okechukwu, former Caretaker Chairman of Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area, Lady Vera Ezugwu, Vice Chairman of Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area.
