 Swearing-In: Uzo-Uwani Stakeholders Stage Warm Reception for Ezugwu.

In a festive atmosphere at Amidi Nkpologu, the hometown of the brand new Executive Chairman of Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area, Barrister Chijioke Ezugwu, were gathered the crème de la crème of the local council to celebrate the groundbreaking swearing-in of the LG chairman.

During the opening prayers, Apostle Emmy Daniels implored divine guidance for the advancement of Uzo-Uwani, proclaiming an end to the activities of underworld elements that had previously impacted the local government. 

“We declare safety, security, and development in our local government. We also pronounce that any individual or group intending to sow chaos or perpetrate violence in our communities will face divine arrest,” the cleric asserted.

Prominent figures in attendance include Hon. Kingsley Tochukwu Ani, PDP Chairman of Uzo Uwani LGA; Hon. Romanus Ezike, Managing Director of Royal Cross Hospital Nsukka; Hon. Vitalis Okonkwo, Uncle Raphael Eze.

Others were Lady Vera Ezugwu, Vice Chairman of the council; Dr. Bath Ezugwu, former Chief Protocol Officer to the Enugu State Government; Dr. George Ajogwu, Managing Director of Julius Ajogwu Memorial Hospital; and Hon. Lazarus Ogbonna, global leader of the Adada General Assembly. 

Also present were Hon. John Offor, Lady Ebere Anigbogu, and Hon. Martins Okechukwu, former Special Adviser to the past Governor of Enugu State, among others.

Recall that His Excellency, Governor of Enugu State, Barrister Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, had earlier inaugurated Barrister Chijioke Ezugwu along with chairmen from the other 16 local government areas of the state.
