Emeka Orokoh Congratulates Ezugwu on PDP LG Chairmanship Nomination

In a statement filled with profound joy and heartfelt appreciation, Hon. Engr. Prince Emeka D. Orokoh has extended his warmest congratulations to Hon. Barr. Chief Joseph Chijioke Ezugwu on his successful emergence as the flag bearer for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the Uzo-Uwani Local Government Chairmanship primaries.

The primaries, which took place at the Uzo-Uwani Local Government Party Office on August 14, 2024, saw Ezugwu rise to the forefront as the party's chosen candidate, a decision Orokoh described as both "gracious" and "divine."

Orokoh, a former Secretary to the Local Government and the immediate past Chief of Staff of Uzo-Uwani L.G.C., expressed his immense joy at Ezugwu’s victory. Referring to Ezugwu as “Agu na-eche ibe one of Nkpologu,” a title that reflects strength and guardianship, Orokoh offered his prayers for wisdom and success in Ezugwu’s forthcoming leadership role.

In his statement, Orokoh also extended his gratitude to the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Barr. Peter Ndubisi Mbah, lauding him for his excellent leadership and for making what he described as the "best choice" in endorsing Ezugwu. He prayed for continued divine guidance for the Governor in his administration.

Orokoh further expressed appreciation to the leadership and members of the PDP who demonstrated overwhelming support during the primaries. He called for continued unity and active participation within the party, highlighting the importance of their collective effort in achieving success both during and after the upcoming elections.

“Once again, the Deity, Congratulations,” Orokoh concluded, reaffirming his unwavering support for Ezugwu’s candidacy.
